tHE TELESCOPE pROJECT
For this project, we were assigned to a planet, moon, or star. Then, we had to do research on that object then try to find late at night. We were suggested to use an app that's called,"SkyView-Explore the Universe". That app would show us where any planet or star would set or rise.
The type of telescope that we made was the Galilean telescope. The focal length of the objective lens 700 mm, for the eyepiece is -130 mm, and the telescope is 550 mm. The kind of telescope that we are using is a Large, Thick convex with a thick concave eyepiece because it wasn’t as blurry as the other telescope. This is a Galilean telescope, which was used by Galileo. At first, he couldn’t figure out how the magnification of the telescope can be computed.
