Into the wild
Project description:
The purpose of this project was to go Into The Wild and learn the circles of life. The person who was important for this project was Chris McCandless. Chris McCandless was born on February 12, 1968 in El Segundo, California. After he graduated from law school, he donated $24,000, which was all the money he had left, to Oxfam International, a hunger prevention charity. Around June 28th 1990, he traveled to Arizona and changed his name to ''Alexander Supertramp.'' In August of 1992, Christopher Johnson McCandless died of starvation. He survived by eating wild potato roots for food, but ended up starving himself to death.
My reflection:
My favorite part of this trip was bonding with my group members and eating dinner with them. I also really liked climbing the mountain with my tent mates. The most important lesson I learned from this was to stay with my group and drink a lot of water while camping in the desert.
